First Stop…Gatwick?

When I started this blog nearly six years ago, I never had any intention to continue it after I returned from my semester abroad. However, here we are six years later, and I find myself having spent nearly more time in the UK than America. Okay, so that’s a slight exaggeration, but I still would say my time is split between London & New York.

I don’t know if people will have any interest in what I have to say, and I don’t even know what I will say, but I really enjoyed blogging when I was abroad so let’s just give it a whirl and see if it works out.

The first post of the revamped blog comes from the fact that I fly in and out of Gatwick the same amount if not more than Heathrow. I always equated Heathrow to JFK in my head. The be all, end all way to get into the UK. However, Gatwick is like the Newark of the UK. Close enough to London that it’s still acceptable to fly into & easy to access London from, but it’s just a little bit further and less convenient. Unless you find yourself in a little place called Croydon quite often. But more on that later.
